Leanne Tunbridge CPA
Leanne Tunbridge - Managing Partner and Certified Practising Accountant. Leanne joined the Acumen Group in 2005 to assist in growing and developing the business. With more than 25 years in the industry, Leanne brings a wealth of technical knowledge to the Acumen Group as well as her personable and friendly nature. Leanne's clients comment on her ability to explain things well, putting them at ease by helping them to understand the issues affecting their financial affairs. She is always happy to answer their questions. Leanne also treats her clients' financial affairs as if they were her own and works towards finding the best possible solution to grow their bottom line.
Melissa Puratic
Melissa Puratic - Accountant (Business Services). Melissa has a Diploma in Accounting and is in the final stages of completing her Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Melissa has had over 7 years experience as an Accountant providing accounting and superannuation administration services to small and medium sized businesses. Melissa's focus is client's requirements and therefore always strives to satisfy their business needs with timely and accurate information and reports.
Barbara De Luca - Accountant. Barbara brings 18 years of experience and knowledge in public practice to Acumen Accounting. Formerly one of five partners in a large practice she retired from the partnership due to family commitments and subsequently joined Acumen Accounting in the early part of 2007. Barbara has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant. Her specialist knowledge is in providing accounting and taxation advice to owners of small to medium businesses and self managed superannuation funds. A highly motivated person, Barbara believes in responding to clients queries in a timely and efficient manner and encourages clients to be actively involved in their own account keeping. Barbara is also able to provide training in Accounting packages including MYOB and Quickbooks. Barbara's personality, knowledge and experience is a wonderful addition to the Acumen family.
Jennifer Weight - Administration Manager. Jennie has been working in business management and administration for 30 years and joined Acumen Accounting as Administration Manager in 2007. Jennie's qualifications include a Diploma in Business Management, Certificate 11 on Office Administration and a Certificate in Retail Management. After managing, and subsequently selling, a large family owned hardware store in rural Victoria which employed around 60 people, Jennie moved on to be office manager of a large accounting firm with 15 accountants. Returning to Melbourne in 2006 she decided to re enter the workforce and joined Acumen Accounting in early 2007. Her knowledge and experience, client focus and attention to detail are highly valued at Acumen Accounting.
